This course guides you on how to set yourself up for a career in remote interpreting (both audio interpreting and video interpreting), including what to buy or have and general best practices to ensure success. Whether you work as a staff interpreter, bilingual employee or a contract interpreter for language services or for schools, hospitals, businesses, law firms, courts, government agencies and/or nonprofit organizations, you’ll come away from this course knowing just what you need to do for a successful career or job. You’ll also know how to use a valuable checklist that addresses your equipment setup and maintenance, your camera presence (for interpreting over video), vital interpreting resources and much more. The directions are broken down in plain English with step-by-step directions that make preparing to perform remote interpreting a clear, straightforward process.
