Course description: This course introduces you to the field of remote interpreting as a whole—what it is, how it works, and who performs it. You’ll also learn about platforms for over-the-phone interpreting, video remote interpreting, video relay services and remote simultaneous interpreting. The course addresses several in-demand specializations in remote interpreting, such as medical, financial, legal and educational interpreting, to help you make an informed decision about the modalities and specializations of remote interpreting that you may want to perform.

Note: In this course, “remote interpreting” and “distance interpreting” are considered synonyms.
